Pickled Northern Final Logo Design.
When first asked to design this, I was told to make basically a drunk northern. Give the Impression that he is 'Pickled'!
Turns out my first round sketches were way too boozed up. My Uncle who was the client didn't even drink. He did like the direction of sketch #5 and the barrel idea was a good match, bringing us to these final round of roughs.
This is really a Graphic Design Piece; and why not, I have a Graphic Design degree. My uncle pickles his own northern, and asked me if I could design a logo that he could put on the jars that he gives out. It wasn't for an actual marketing campaign, but sounded fun. Over the week I completed the work shown. It was just a fun little project I figured I would do. Treating my uncle just like I would a client we came with a cool design. My payment was a jar of pickled northern.
